Warnings God’s Wrath, Satan’s Evil SERIES  —These lessons are about two things we should not fool around with. God can save us from both, but be warned, he will only save us on his terms.

Hard to Hear God SERIES  —These pages present things the Bible teaches that are hard sayings, and people do find them hard to hear. The truth is not always soft and easy. Sometimes it is hard and difficult. But it still needs to be believed and taught.

The Gospel is the Power  —Three kinds of power in the gospel... the power to enlighten, to save, and to establish.

Vengeance and Wrath (Revelation 6:9-17)  —We consider two visions, each portraying the Christian or gospel age and the day of God’s wrath at the end.

Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath  —An exposition of the vision of the Bowls of God’s Wrath in Revelation 16:1-21. This is another vision about the Great Day of God and God’s judgment and punishment of the wicked. Behind this vision of doom, there is good news.

Salvation (Wonderful Words)  —Christians commonly talk about “salvation”, their “Saviour”, and the need to be “saved” yet some are vague about what doctrine lies behind these terms.

Two Sides of God's Nature  —God does not have a split personality that changes whimsically. Yet God’s nature does have two sides, each of which is necessary to, and consistent with, the other.

Two Sides of God's Plan  —About the two sides of the way of salvation. That way may be viewed in two different, but mutually consistent, modes.

Two Sides of God's Covenant  —God’s part and our part — what God had to do and what we have to do.

Sufficient Suffering  —Many folk have the idea that you can somehow expunge sin with suffering. By yielding yourself to pain or deprivation, you purchase for yourself some grace with which to pay off your debt of sin. Is this possible?

The Severity of God  —The goodness and mercy of God go together with the severity and wrath of God. Living in the fear of God helps to assure our salvation.

Ezekiel Outline Chapters 24-25  —Chapters 24 and 25 of Ezekiel outlined and analysed. Siege of Jerusalem begins. The parable of the pot on the fire, Ezekiel faces his hardest task.

Righteous Lot in Sinful Sodom  —(2Peter 2:6-11)  Lot was living in Sodom. He was a very righteous man, and Sodom was a very sinful city. God decided to destroy Sodom and its neighbouring city Gomorrah. This story, like that of Noah, is a microcosm of the end of the world (2Peter 3).

Adam's Predicament  —In this lesson we consider the nature of Adam’s sin, condemnation, and forgiveness. At first sight Adam’s fall from grace seems straightforward to understand. Yet people have very different views of it. I hope this lesson will clarify the nature and consequences of Adam’s error and his hope of forgiveness.

Seven Fears in Wrath (2Thessalonians 1)  —Paul is very aware that, as well as the grace and mercy of God, there is the wrath and retribution of God.

Wanem yumi mas mekem blong God  —Sapos yu wantem we God bambae i nomo kros long yu, mo hem bambae i tekemaot olgeta sin blong yu. ?Wanem yu mas mekem?

Jisas Kraes i tekem ples blong yumi  —Jisas i bin safa panis long wan kros we i stanap long Kalvari. ?From wanem? Kraes we laef blong hem i stret olgeta, hem i tekem ples blong yufala we laef blong yufala i no stret.

Grace and Wrath  —Romans 5:8-9. Sinners are saved by God’s love, saved from God’s wrath, but what makes this salvation possible? A sacrifice of blood: the blood of Christ who died for sinners.

Facts About God  —A list of Bible facts about God. We look at what the scriptures reveal of his divine nature and eternal existence. Just a neat simple list for reference.

Examples of God's Oneness  —A List of Bible Examples of the oneness of God. We look at what the scriptures reveal about God's oneness. Just a neat simple list for reference. There are several ways in which God is one.

God's Plan of Salvation  —How we are saved and what we are saved from.

God's Living Way  —God’s way of salvation leads to the eternal life of God. Why few find it and keep hold of it.

Is the Holy Spirit an Impersonal Force?  —Discusses the Personhood of the Holy Spirit showing his attributes of personality.

God’s Presence  —(The Holy Spirit) God in us and we in God - a chart lesson showing the Christian’s relationship with God.

AI is Not God, God is Not AI  —Some people think that there is no God at present, but that Artificial Intelligence will one day take on the role of God. That god will be a god we can believe in and so do away with atheism.

Sweet Will of God  —God has willed that all obey his decrees, that all repent of sin, that Christ die for all.

God's Magnificent Promises  —God’s promises are very great and precious. Let’s believe and appreciate them, act upon them, assure our hearts with them.

Is Satan Equal to God?  —discusses whether God and Satan are opposite equals.

Good Greater Than Evil  —Having seen that Satan and God are not equals, we now turn to the question of good and evil as the products, respectively, of God and Satan.

The Authority of Jesus  —Authority makes doctrine true. No doctrine is the truth unless it has the right authority, and no authority is valid unless it is based squarely on truth. Jesus Christ passes this test.

The Humility of Jesus  —Did Jesus have the same authority while on earth in the flesh as he had beforehand as the eternal Word, and has now as Jesus Christ exalted to God’s right hand?

God's Agenda for Humanity (1Timothy 2:1-4)  —God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”. The salvation and enlightenment of humanity has always been the will and work of God.

God's Goal of Oneness (1Timothy 2:5-8)  —There is but one path to eternal life, the path of faith in Jesus Christ and full obedience to him. This one faith is the center of the gospel.

The God Who Cares and Answers Prayers  —A look at the parables of Friends at Midnight and the Persistent Widow.

The God Who Seeks  —A lesson from Isaiah. The Most High God helps mankind to seek and find Him, but most reject Him.

Is Jesus Jehovah?  —In this lesson we ask whether Jesus has a right to God’s name —Jehovah or Yahweh.

Is Jesus Divine?  —Paul says of Christ, “In him dwells all the fulness of deity in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9). This lesson presents four facts that show the divine nature of Christ.

God in Us and We in God  —Shows the Christian’s relationship with God. A concordance of scriptures that speak of the Christian “in” God, and God “in” the Christian.

Is God Flesh and Bone?  —The Bible tells us about the nature of God. However, there is much that is not told. When human beings claim to know more about God than the Bible reveals, they tend to make a god in the likeness of a human being.
